Islam in the workplace for the employee Muslim

Islam is the largest religious in the world, but there are many misunderstanding and stereotypes circulate in the media or society. Because of that reason, all of the people should begin to understand about Islam. In addition, some of the Muslim people there try to be a good Muslim when they work. They still obey the Islam theory in their life. On the other hand, some of the Muslim people there only as individual is Muslim by name only and chooses not to practice their religion. Because of that, this essay will tell about the information that contains basic tips and guidelines for HR staff and other bear in mind. Specifically foe the employee in the United Kingdom.

First, prayer, both female and male Muslim does it five time everyday. Such as; subuh prayer at dawn, zuhur prayer at midday, ashar prayer at the late of the afternoon, magrib prayer at dusk and isya prayer at night. Every prayer should do it face to Makkah. It usually on a prayer mat and a clean surface. It also recites prayer with follow the procedure of bowing and prostrating. This prayer typically takes between five to fifteen minutes. It depends on each person and decor to the movement. For all of the information above, the company should prepare a clean room for the Muslim employee. So they do not have the hindrance again to do prayer.

Second, Friday prayer, it is only for men Muslim. They do it on every Friday afternoon on a mosque. Because of that the company should give additional time for them to do it. Third, fasting, it is an activity that involves abstinence from food, drink and smoking from dawn until dusk. All of Muslim people do fasting during Ramadan moth and some of them fast on the Monday and Thursday. Because of that reason, the company does not need the Muslim employee to invite then to have lunch in the office. Fourth, talking about dress, most men and women Muslim usually wears a dress that closes their genitals. The men usually wear a shirt and long pans. The women usually wear veil and dress modestly. In this case, the company may give permit for women Muslim to wear their veil.

Then, talking about holiday, there are two dates of significance for them. They are Eid- al Fitr, this holiday celebrates at the end of Ramadan month and Eid- Al Adha, and this holiday celebrates at the end of hajji. This holiday also commemorates the Abraham willingness to sacrifice his son. In addition, the Muslim people usually slaughter goats, sheep, or camel. It will be distributed for their family, their neighborhood or for poor people. For that reason, the company should give the holiday for them to celebrate Islam day. Next, talking about socializing, most Muslim people can not follow the business culture in United Kingdom. Because Muslim people can not go to the pub to drink alcohol. Because of that, the company may try to looking for the place that makes the entire employee will enjoy with the situation.

Furthermore, talking about food, there are some foods that can and can not eat by Muslim people. The food must be halal for them. For example; they only eat meat that slaughtered according to Islam practice. For that reason, the company should have uneasy way to overcome any catering difficulties is to provide vegetarian option. After that, talking about touch or personal space, some of the Muslim people do not like to shake their hand with other Muslim people. In addition both men and women Muslim may also find close personal contact between sexes very uncomfortable.

Finally, there are some uniqueness in Islam theory if we want to learn and can understand them. Islam has many rules for the human to live in the world. All of them do not make them have difficulties, but can give them easier.

Sianok Canyon

Sianok Canyon is a steep valley (ravine), which is located in the heart of the city of Bukittinggi, West Sumatra. This valley stretching from the south and curvaceous canyon Koto Gadang up in the Canyon Sianok Six tribe, and ended up Palupuh. Kingdom Pagaruyung become Sultanate of Islam around the year 1600-an. Although Adityawarman is a prince of Majapahit, he actually has the blood of Malay. In its history, in the year 1286, the King statue Amogapacha Kertanagara reward for Darmasraya Kingdom in Minangkabau.
